- In its second year of existence, we decided the UVU Criteriums should become the most raced race around, Ideas are still in the "Idea stage" but heres what we're thinking.
Everyone likes to race for monies so the following is gonna be the pay out structure.
Category A/B
1st $30
2nd $25
3rd $20
4th $15
5th $12
6th $10
7th $5
Category C/D
1st $20
2nd $17
3rd $15
4th $12
5th $10
6th $ 5
- In addition to winning money, UVU will also be reporting upgrade points to USA cycling.
- Entry fees are looking like the will be $8 bucks pre registered and $12 day of.
- We also want to do a prime lap for each race, awards for prime laps are unkown at this point.
This Pay structure will only be in effect the first couple of races, However, if the fields are large enough we will be able to continue doing them so tell your friends!
1st race is Thursday June 3rd
These are preliminary ideas, we need your insight to make modifications.

What day of the week do you have in mind? Same course?
Course will likely be 4 corners in the same location. we are thinking possibly mondays as it doesnt compete with other races. What do you think?

Doubling down on SBJ's question - the SLCo crits are too distant for me to get to on a regular basis...I'd love to see some UC love (as for the payouts, unless the field is 3 or less, I'm pretty well out of contention)
